Today we’re taking you to Antwerp, a lively student city where historic streets, cozy cafés, and a buzzing social scene come together. Antwerp isn’t just a student town — it’s a place where everyone feels connected, where the weeks are for studying and the weekends are for fun.
Lois and Melisa show us what makes life here so special: mornings with pilates and bakery breakfasts, study days at the University of Antwerp library or Study360 spots, and evenings filled with cooking together or spontaneous nights out.
From brunch at Fuel or Tinsel to drinks at Vitrin, Patine, or spicy margaritas at Cobra, Antwerp offers endless student favorites.
With summer walks around the MAS, iconic nights ending at Pita Vogelmarkt, and events like Full Circle and Café Society, student life here feels vibrant, social, and full of energy.
Welcome to Antwerp — a city where studying meets community, and where there’s always something happening. If you have any questions you can ask them at : loisvandatte05@gmail.com and bulut.melisa2005@gmail.com

A normal day for us in Antwerp starts with a pilates session to wake up, followed by grabbing breakfast at a small bakery nearby. It’s our favourite way to ease into the day before heading toward campus.

Then we go studying — either in the university library, at one of the shared study spaces in the city, or at home together.

In the late afternoon we like to unwind a bit. Sometimes we go for a walk near the water or explore a lively neighbourhood just to clear our heads after studying.

Saturdays we usually meet up with friends for a drink — either in “het Zuid” (south part of the city) or at someone’s place. From there, the night often unfolds on its own: going out together, dancing, and enjoying the lively atmosphere that fills the streets. Nights almost always end with grabbing something to eat before heading home.
